Sangiovese
Sangiovese is a red wine Italian grape mostly known for the infamous Chianti wine and for the Brunello di Montalcino wine. Because of its ability to adapt to several territories, Sangiovese offers a winde range of flavours according to the place where it is grown. Mostly earthy in the Chianti Classico with mermerizing notes of cherries, red plum, strawberry and fig.
Usual pairings are with roasted meat, cured meat and cheese, but can be also a good pairing with dishes that have herbs and tomato, in order to bring out more flavours in the wine.
