In 1930, Victor Besserat took up the challenge laid down by the Director of a distinguished Parisian restaurant to craft a delicate and lightly sparkling Champagne as a perfect accompaniment to an entire meal.. Besserat Champagne de Bellefon was founded and developed from grapes grown in the heart of the champagne Appellation that would be delicate and lightly effervescent and would accompany any meal perfectly.
Cuvee des Moins was born. Its silky feel and tiny bubbles seem to rise to the surface in a fine foam as soon as it is poured into the champagne flute. Not undergoing malolactic fermentation the aromas are preserved also increasing the time it can be stored in the cellar.
Harvested from the finest vineyards of the region Avize, Bouzy, Chouilly, all brought together to create a delicate elegant wine with a perfect balance between aromatic force, freshness and effervescence.
