The oak that creates Lacourte-Godbillon's barrels is from the Ecueil forest or Champagne-Ardenne. The wines stay in these barrels for the entirety of autumn in order to develop outstanding complexity and for each wine to have its own, unique personality.

The vision for their wines is simple, almost simplistic. The main objective at Lacourte-Godbillon is to truly display each wine's own character and to be the best possible expression of its terroir.
