Joseph Perrier Champagne

Established in 1825 by Joseph Perrier, this champagne house has been managed by the Pithois Family since 1888. The estate vineyards of 21 hectares are just above the Marne River on the elevated northern slopes of Valle de la Marne.

The Cuveé Royale Brut NV champagne is the flagship product of the Joseph Perrier Champagne house and was the chosen champagne at the Royal Court of England, during the time of Queen Victoria and King Edward VII.

Today in 2025, the House of Joseph Perrier reveals itself with fresh, new labelling and as they describe as 'in a new light. Luminous. Enlightening. Sparkling. Positive. Uninhibited.'

TWO CENTURIES OF HISTORY

From father to son or cousin over six generations and two centuries, Joseph Perrier is an independent and authentic family-run Champagne house.

Their 23 hectares in Châlons-en-Champagne are ideally located on the south facing slopes above the Marne, harvesting only the best through meticulous selection and picking by hand in small baskets to preserve the delicacy and quality of the grapes.

The cellars are their pride and joy with galleries of Gallo-Roman origin and extend over three kilometres in length. The chalk is pierced with skylights, ensuring optimal natural ventilation.
