The Salcombe Distilling Co. home is among the traditional boatbuilders on Island Street Salcombe. The boat building tradition in Salcombe was at its height in the 19th century when the Salcombe Fruiters, Schooner sailing vessels, brought back fresh fruits and spices from around the world. This tradition inspired co-founders Angus and Howard when choosing the botanicals to use in their bespoke gin, continuing the Salcombes legacy of producing outstanding handcrafted products. They have now presented numerous awarding wining products including a non-alcoholic spirit.
