DOM PERIGNON'S NEW CREATOR
Geoffroy’s interpretation of the Dom Pérignon vision led to the ‘Plenitudes’ concept – current vintage, P2 and P3 and their vocation to express the next level of a Dom Pérignon Champagne as it matures.
Moet & Chandon's new head winemaker Vincent Chaperon has been working closely with Geoffroy since 2005, taking part in 13 harvests and declaring four vintages. Born into a winemaking family in Bordeaux, France, as young as eight years old, his grandfather regaled him with fascinating tales of the vineyards.
“It’s not about putting your signature on something,” says Chaperon. “I decided to take this position because I knew that I would be happy all of my life working, discovering, experiencing, living Dom Pérignon.”
