Perrier Jouet Champagne
Perrier Jouet Champagne since 1918, has maintained a creative spirit and quest for perfection. Great Champagne houses call on creativity and innovation, but must also protect whats theirs. In 1958 Perrier Jouet guaranteed the rarity and quality of their wines by branding the corks of each with the vintage year and PJ seal proving the wines authenticity. To this day the House of Perrier Jouet upholds the blend of art, creativity and innovation that defined the founders and their successors. Hand painted bottles are a detail which Perrier Jouet upholds. Designed by Emile Gallé, a leading light of the art nouveau movement in 1902, the Belle epoque range are hand painted decorated with his elegant Japanese anemones.
In 1902 he designed the iconic anemone wreathed in gold that was placed on the bottle of the first Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque vintage in 1964, turning it into a work of art the history of which unfurls and continues to this day.
