Quinta de la Rosa is a single quinta producer of Port and table wines in the Alto Douro, they are a genuinely single-quinta producer in the Douro, meaning the wines are made on-site from estate vineyards rather than by blended firms. The property has been owned by the same family since 1906, the Bergqvist's. It is a remarkable estate, with vineyards stretching up from right at the bank of the river all the way up to an altitude of 450 metres.
