Gérard Soutiran was the first to place the Soutiran name on a bottle of Champagne in the 1950s. Since then, two further generations have become a part of the family business. Valérie Soutiran, Gérards granddaughter, is the most recent family member to join in 1989 taking over the management and development of the commercial activity.
Located in the heart of the Montagne de Reims, the house's philosophy is to defend the notion of the terroir and craftsmanship. All of their cuvées undergo extended ageing in a mixture of both oak and stainless steel vats.
ARTISANAL KNOW-HOW
Soutiran's ambition is to let you discover the wealth and diversity of Champagne through their wines. They aim to defend the notions of terroir and artisanal know-how by always sticking to their roots and remaining authentic. The expression of the terroir is cleverly weaved into each wine shown in the assertive, intense and expressive aromas and fleshy, rich palates that hold a mineral salinity derived from their chalky soils.
