Cap Classique
Cap Classique wines are a premium type of South African sparkling wines. It's a term used for any wine in the Cape produced by the traditional method. They have started the production with Simonsig Wine Estate in Stellenbosch in 1968 and released in 1971 because were the first to have the three grape varieties: Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunieur and Chardonnay. Today the most known Cap Classique producers include Klein Constantia, Graham Beck and Pongracz.
