Nicolo Champagne Nicolo Champagne is owned by David and Agnes Nicolo. David Nicolo, a third generation wine grower developed an extensive knowledge of the wine business over many years. Recently aquiring Camille Paradis et Fils becoming, Nicolo & Paradis, they have produced an excellent collection of Champagne under the label ‘Champagne Nicolo’ which competes easily with some of the larger champagne houses.
The House of David & Agnes Nicolo was built in 1802 by the famous General Vouillemont of General Napoleon's Army and their vineyard is in Arsonval in the Aube Valley of Champagne, spanning a strong 17 hectares across the Colombé-le-sec. The vineyards are predominantly planted with Pinot Noir, together with some Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier and they promote working in harmony with nature at the heart of the community paying particular attention to the use of sustainable methods.
