William Fevre Petit Chablis White Wine 2018 France 75cl

This 100% Chardonnay from William Fevre combines a pleasant fruitiness with an attractive freshness and characteristic minerality. The Petit Chablis is grown on different terroir than that of their other crus, with the limestone subsoil of these vineyards being of Portlandian origin, rather than Kimmeridgean limestone that features in the premier and grand cru vineyards of the region.

Over the years, the domaine has acquired new vineyards in Chablis which are all located in the historic terroirs. William Fevre has become one of the biggest landowners in Chablis with 78 hectares of prestigious vineyards, of which several are classified as Premier and Grand Crus. This wine offers an entry point to the fine wines of one of Chablis' finest producers, with the characteristic freshness that marks the great wines of the region.
