The 12 year old W.L. Weller is aged far longer than most wheated bourbons. This gives the drinker a much smoother, easy-going balanced offering with a beautiful deep bronze colour.
On the nose there are aromas of lanolin, almond, creamed corn and toasty vanilla. The palate is complex and provides you with toasty flavours from it being heavily wheated. Mutliple layers of sweet and sap like flavours fill the mouth with a long, oaky and intensely smooth finish.
