Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs 2013 75cl
The Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs 2013 is Taittinger's most prestigious Cuvee with its silky, elegant profile and texture. Produced only in exceptional vintage years, the 2013 is produced from 100% Chardonnay grapes all from Grand Cru vineyards in the Côte des Blancs.
In 1952, the Taittinger Champagne House created the Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs in honour of the Comtes de Champagne (Counts of Champagne), in particular Thibaud IV. Thie Blanc de Blancs is created using juice from the first press only and a small percentage is aged in new oak to add subtle toasted notes.

Grape: Chardonnay
The 2013 growing season proved to be a much-welcomed reminder of glorious late vintages of the past. An extremely rainy and grey Spring followed a cold, wet Winter. Fortunately, the hot and dry Summer was one of the sunniest on record in the Champagne region and proved very beneficial for the quality of the grapes.
Fresh, elegant and beautifully structured. Delicate bubbles with endless layers of lemon confit, dried flowers and spice.
Perfect with elegant seafood such as shrimp, lobster or oysters.
