Piper-Heidsieck Brut Vintage 2018 is assembled from 18 different Grand and Premier crus. Using Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims gives the Champagne structure, while the Chardonnay from la Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims expresses the charm and elegance of the vintage.
The blend is made up of 50% Chardonnay, 47% Pinot Noir and 3% Pinot Meunier. Drinking beautifully now, it also promises to age gracefully until at least 2035.

2018 had a mild and very wet winter, but spring temperatures were high while allowed the vines to develop properly. A warm and dry summer meant that the grapes could ripen in abundance. The 2018 harvest came early, producing wines of remarkable fruitiness and elegance.
On the nose, the 2018 vintage delivers aromas of nectarine, mocha, fresh almond, red fruit and a hint of smoke. The palate is an intense presentation of fruit, with pineapple, raspberry and paprika aromas.
Pairs exceptionally with boldly flavoured, rich foods. Try with creamy Chaource cheese, mushroom risotto or foie gras.
