The Pelotón de la Muerte Mezcal Artesanal is a silver Mezcal, the name roughly translates to 'Brigade of Death' and the label features the banner that represented the insurgent army call 'The squadron of death'. The agave after harvest is cooked in lava-lined pits for five days before being crushed with tahona. A single variety of agave is used Maguey Espadín (A. Angustifolia).
