Montes Outer Limits Zapallar Sauvignon Blanc White Wine 2019 Chile 75cl

Produced from grapes from a single vineyard in the Zapallar region of Aconcagua, this Sauvignon Blanc has a racy acidity, minerality, elegance, and unique aromatics. Cold-soaked for four hours to extract aromas and flavours, the grapes are then fermented very slowly in stainless steel tanks for 30 days. The wine was kept in contact with its lees for six to eight months to add a roundness to the palate. 

Montes was established in 1988 with the aim of producing the best wines in Chile from the best regions. The Montes wines are consistently high quality because they are meticulous throughout the production process. The Outer Limites wines were born out of Aurelio Montes' desire to push Chilean viticulture in a new direction. As a result of the concentration and balance in the Outer Limits range, they can be enjoyed now or allowed to age for a few years which will reward with a wonderfully complex bouquet.
