The nose holds flavours of sweet caramel, vanilla and wood leading to a palate of soft almond nougat, peach and light malt sugar. The finish is dry and persistent with genuine woody oak notes.

A unique, strong whiskey
When I first tasted this, I could not believe it was blended. Its nose does not reflect its taste. It is strong on the palate but is smooth with a delightful warm explosion as it settles. I strongly recommend this whiskey from what I believe is Ireland's oldest distillery.
