Drawing its incredible character from predominantly American oak casks which have been seasoned with sherry, The Highland Park 21 truly is a diverse and dynamic whisky.
With a reddish gold Orkney sunset colour, the nose gives out butterscotch, dark chocolate and orange. The palate has an intense fruity and spicy centre, surrounded by complex layers of candied orange peel, dark chocolate and rich, slightly drier smoke. The finish is rich and complex with a sweet smoky sensation. It is a malt whisky that rewards patience and delivers an experience like no other.
