Four Pillars Spiced Negroni Gin 70cl
Four Pillars Spiced Negroni Gin is one of Four Pillar's seasonal gins, and is the first release from Four Pillars' Bartender Series. This gin was the result of a conversation in 2014 between the Four Pillars Distiller Cameron Mackenzie, and one of Australia’s top bartenders, Jason Williams. Together they wanted to create a gin specifically for the Negroni – something to cut through the Campari and vermouth. As the Negroni has always been a favourite at Four Pillars, Cameron jumped at the chance to make the first collaboration in their Bartender Series as a tribute to the very definition of a perfectly balanced cocktail.

they took their base botanicals and upped the amount of Tasmanian pepperberry leaf and cinnamon. Then they added an exotic West African spice called Grains of Paradise; one of the most unusual spices in the world, with clove and Sichuan characters. But although very powerful, the spice tends to glow rather than become hot.

Yarra Valley-based distillery Four Pillars Gin was recently presented with the industry's greatest accolade, the 2019 International Gin Producer of the Year at the 50th Annual International Wine and Spirits Competition in London.
Four Pillars Gin was established in 2013 in the Yarra Valley on the outskirts of Melbourne and has become one of the world's benchmark distilleries, Australia's No.1 craft spirit and a leading light in the Australian gin revolution. Four Pillars today produces around 100,000 cases of gin annually (equivalent to 600,000 bottles). Australia is in the middle of a gin boom which has seen consumption of locally-produced gin grow by 33% in 2018 and likely a similar number in 2019. There is estimated to be around 180 distilleries in Australia producing gin today. In 2013 there were fewer than 15. In the past five years, Australian consumption of gin has increased by 15.2% per annum and Four Pillars has grown at an average of 83.4% a year since its launch in 2013.
