Eric Rodez Empreinte Blanche Extra Brut Vintage 2009 Champagne 75cl
Empreinte Blanche 2009 is 100% chardonnay, blended from 5 to 7 parcels located in Ambonnay grand cru. Vinified entirely in small oak barrels, and given 10 years on lees, this is a showstopping, highly individual expression of blanc de blancs Champagne.
Eric Rodez owns 6.5ha of vineyards, all in Ambonnay, a famed grand cru in the Montagne de Reims, and farms without synthetic chemicals. He honed his winemaking and blending skills at Krug before rejoining his small family domaine, and is now one of the most respected grower-producers in Champagne.
