Eric Rodez Empreinte Blanche Vintage 2010 is 100% Chardonnay Champagne. Blended from 5 to 7 parcels located in the Ambonnay Grand Cru and vinified entirely in small oak barrels, and given 10 years on lees, this is a showstopping, highly individual expression of blanc de blancs Champagne.
Eric Rodez owns 6.5 hectares of vineyards, all in Ambonnay, a famed grand cru in the Montagne de Reims, and farms without synthetic chemicals. He honed his winemaking and blending skills at Krug before rejoining his small family domaine, and is now one of the most respected grower-producers in Champagne.

Grape: Chardonnay
On the nose, aromas of yellow fruit, brioche, and slight minerality are present. The palate is powerful, yet elegant with depth and complexity. The oak notes bring structure without being overwhelming. The finish is precise with a preserved freshness.
