Eric Rodez Empreinte Noire Extra Brut Vintage 2009 Champagne 75cl
Empreinte Blanche 2009 is 100% pinot noir, blended 6 grand cru parcels located in Ambonnay. Vinified entirely in small oak barrels, and given 10 years on lees, this is a powerful, complex and layered expression of Montagne de Reims pinot noir.
Eric Rodez owns 6.5ha of vineyards, all in Ambonnay, a famed grand cru in the Montagne de Reims, and farms without synthetic chemicals. He honed his winemaking and blending skills at Krug before rejoining his small family domaine, and is now one of the most respected grower-producers in Champagne.

Grape: Pinot Noir
A beautifully clear, mineral expression of Pinot Noir grapes with cherry and brioche aromas coming through. The palate is fresh and complex with hints of salt on the elegant finish.
