Louis Jadot Chassagne-Montrachet Morgeot White Wine 75cl
Louis Jadot Duc du Magenta Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Morgeot Clos de la Chapelle 2012 hails from a characterful vineyard that tends to produce a richer style of white Burgundy. This is no exception, and although it was a little bit shy when it was first released, it has evolved marvelously into a powerful, rich, spicy, nutty wine.
Duc du Magenta is a 12-hectare estate in Chassagne-Montrachet, with some very promising terroirs in Chassagne and Puligny-Montrachet. The Domaine had a long-term contract with Louis Jadot (now expired), who have made and sold some exceptional wines from their vines. Not be missed, these wines are no longer being made by Louis Jadot and are something of a dying breed.
