Grape: Chardonnay
Gorgeous nose of ripe pear, apple, peach, orange peel, hazelnut and buttery pastry. The palate has breadth and richness, and enough balancing acidity to keep the wine focused and fresh.
This would work well with chicken roasted with lemon, garlic and thyme; or with a decadent lobster thermidor.
