Joseph Drouhin Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Embazées 2017 75cl
Joseph Drouhin Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Embazées 2017 is an outstanding white Burgundy. Ripe fruit flavours are balanced with clean acidity and taught mineral character, flowing beautifully from up-front lemon, ripe pear, and honeyed toast onto a dry, saline finish.
The Joseph Drouhin vineyards are farmed organically and with biodynamic principles, with herb-based infusions and natural predators used instead of synthetic products. These methods are reputedly better for soil health, disease resistance, and overall wine quality.

Grape: Chardonnay
The wine exhibits delicate notes of white flowers, toasted hazelnuts, lemon peel, comice pear, and honey. Medium- to full-bodied, the wine seamlessly transitions from the ripe fruit to a tight mineral finish.
Try with roasted shellfish and garlic butter.
