Drappier Grande Sendrée Rosé Brut Vintage 2010 Champagne 75cl
Grande Sendrée 2012 Rosé Vintage 2010 comes from the name of an archipelago of plots on Kimmeridgian chalk, covered in ash that ravaged Urville in 1836. Cendree (cinders) changed to Sendree after a light spelling error made its way into the new version of the land register.
In a unique Louis XV bottle. Complex bouquet opening on to notes of strawberry and gooseberry. On the palate pure and elegant with a lovely roundness in the finish and a liveliness brought by the Chardonnay and its liquorice hints.
Grand sendree is presented in a bottle reminiscent of an 18th century bottle found in the Urville cellars.
Chardonnay 8% and Pinot Noir 92%, the Pinot Noir brings its power and vinosity in a very subtle manner and a splash of Chardonnay gives a touch of freshness to this fine rose. 35% of the wines are matured in barrels. Very low sulphites.
"Our great wine of Champagne. Just one regret. There’s not enough to offer it in Magnum! " Drappier.
