Drappier Grande Sendrée Rosé takes its name from a piece of land covered in cinders (cendree) after a fire ravaged Urville in 1838. Cendree changed to Sendree after a light spelling error made its way into the new versino of the land register.

The Pinot Noir brings its power and vinosity in a very subtle manner and a splash of Chardonnay gives a touch of freshness to this fine rose.

The Grande Sendree Rose 2010 is produced in very limited quantities as only the best parcels from the oldest vines are harvested.
A fresh and complex bouquet of delicate strawberry flavours with slight aromas of honeyed apricot. A lively mouthfeel with the expression of red fruits. This rich Champagne has great persistence.
Ideal as an aperitif and a wonderful accompaniment to saffron creamed mussels, crayfish salad, lamb shank or monkfish panna cotta.
