Dom Ruinart Rosé 2009 Vintage Champagne is a beautifully rare champagne, produced with exceptional attention to detail. The blend is composed of 85% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Noir, sourced entirely from Grand Cru vineyards in the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims. The wine is patiently aged for 11 years in the deep, chalk cellars of Maison Ruinart. The end result is a wine of awe-inspiring depth; combining power, elegance, complexity, and freshness.

Grape: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir
The complex bouquet reveals hints of warming spice - cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger - along with citrus notes of kumquat and blood orange. This follows with very pretty floral notes of violet and peony, and a lingering, savoury nuance. The silky palate brings redcurrants and pomegranate, with saline minerality and notable intensity.
Pairs well with fish cured with citrus and saffron; delicate, aromatic-spiced poultry dishes; and pumpkin and hazelnut gnocchi.
