The dramatic weather conditions of 2015 resulted in an excellent harvest of red-skinned grapes, with pinot noir, in particular, showing exceptional maturity.

2015 was a year of dramatic heat and uncertainty for the harvest. A dry and hot climate meant that many Champagne houses in the region were not certain the harvest would be a success, but thankfully the red grapes matured with excellence.
On the palate, initial notes of fresh brioche, almond and breadcrumbs give way to jasmine and elderflower, with white peach and watermelon coming through for the finish. The finish lingers on a delicate bitterness of the fruit and almond notes. The structure is both generous and gentle, which is redolent of the cotton flower. A light freshness is brought through in floral and aniseed notes.
