Pairs well with…
- Summer Fruits
- White Meat
Grape: Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir
The 2016 harvest in Champagne reflects the region's traditional unpredictability. Winter was wet and a cool causing some grape loss, followed by a rainy spring and a summer that dried the vineyards but also led to further fruit loss.
Despite these challenges, the remaining grapes ripened well, especially the Meuniers and Pinot Noirs.

Initial aromas of toasted bread and hazelnut make way for softer scents of marzipan, gingerbread and barely sugar. The champagne has persistent background notes that are fruity and floral offering plum, Mirabelle, orange blossom and aniseed.
The palate is round and serene with a structured core which culminates in a sweet and tangy finish.
