The Krug 2008 Vintage is an elegant style that will develop over many years, drink now to 2035. Due to the cool harvest of 2008 the steady development of the grapes created a structures refined vintage. A blend of 53% Pinot Noir, 22% Chardonnay and 25% Pinot Meunier from Premier and Grand Cru vineyards, cellared for over 10 years. This higher percentage of Pinot Meunier than over vintages, this also adds to the structure, grown in the Marne Valley village of Sainte-Gemme. Every Krug Vintage is unique and celebrates the distinct of the grapes of a particular year in Champagne.
