Joseph Drouhin Meursault 1er Cru Perrières 2016 White Wine is made from exclusively Chardonnay from the presitgious area, Côte des Blancs. The pressing of the grapes is done carefully and slowly, as to respect the fruit and maintain premium quality juice. The wine is ages in French oak barrels for 12 months and throughout the ageing process, decisions are taken only after careful tasting evaluation.

Grape: Chardonnay
A generous and elegant wine that expresses varied aromas of syrup, grilled almond and preserved fruit. The mouthfeel is silky with a certain freshness and lightness. The flavours are long and persistent, revealing notes of grilled bread and fruit jam to the finish.
As with every Joseph Drouhin wine, absolute priority is given to the true expression of terroir and character of the vintage.
