Dom Perignon is only available as a vintage Champagne and is only produced in exceptional years. The 2010 vintage is a blend of 46% Pinot Noir and 54% Chardonnay. After spending 9 years on lees, this spectacular vintage was disgorged in Autumn 2020 and is perfect to enjoy now or up until 2035.
2010 was a challenging year for the house but it produced an excellent vintage nonetheless.

The 2010 harvest had an incredibly cold winter that showed heavy frost patches. Once Spring approached the weather began to improve and offered cool but consistent temperatures. Throughout August and September, the conditions were stormy and humid, compromising the grape's ripeness. However, Dom Perignon's vineyards in the Grand Cru village of Verzenay had an outstanding Pinot Noir harvest. The Chardonnay harvest on the contrast, produced one of the finest quality Chardonnay grapes seen in the previous ten years.
On the nose, the tropical sweetness of mango, pineapple, and melon give way to more subtle notes of orange zest and mandarin. Whilst on the palate, the Champagne's character is full-bodied and tactile with an iodine and saline finish.
Dom Pérignon vintage 2010 invokes a cuisine that resonates with its floral fruitiness, its structure, and its herbaceous salty and spicy notes.Vintage 2010 will accompany tropical and floral ingredients such as rose, peach, granadilla and tamarind. The wine will harness the dense flesh of fish such as sea bass, bream, turbot and scallops just as much as it will marry the mineral character of turbot skin and seaweed.
