Dom Perignon 1973 Vintage Champagne 75cl
Dom Perignon 1973 Vintage Champagne is an extremely powerful and characteristic wine. The year saw a dry summer however it did not keep the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes from filling out.
"A wine characterised by notes of preserves, then giving way to a sense of preserved plums on the nose. Very powerful on the palate, with an animal and vanilla character and a marked roasted coffee and slightly spicy finish." - Dominique Foulon, 17 February 1993

The 1973 harvest began on the 28th of September following a very dry August and early September.
Very complex in terms of style with preserved fruit notes on the nose and a powerful palate of vanilla, roasted coffee and slight spice.
