Master distiller Bernadette Langlais created Cointreau Blood Orange Liqueur and this daring recipe grew incredibly popular among Liqueur lovers. Along with the sweet and bitter orange peels found in the classic Cointreau, it also uses blood oranges from Corsica. The blood oranges are picked just as the oils in the peels reach their peak, giving them rich, expressive citrus notes throughout. This was first made available through the travel retail sector.
