Chateau Musar Hochar Pere et Fils 2018 Lebanon Red Wine is bright ruby red in colour with red fruits, plums, sloes and cherries on both the nose and palate. This is a deliciously balanced and elegant Lebanese wine that combines vibrant fruit notes on a medium-bodied palate with smooth, soft tannins and good acidity. This wine will drink well now but will especially benefit from cellar ageing.
Hochar Pere et Fils is sourced from specially selected vineyards near the village of Aana in the Bekaa Valley. The vineyards are characterised by deep, gravelly soil on a limestone base. Low yields result in a concentrated wine and the altitude keeps the average yearly temperatures at around 25°C.
