Bruno Paillard NPU 2008 Nec Plus Ultra Champagne 75cl
Bruno Paillard N.P.U Nec Plus Ultra 2008 is a prestigious, extra-brut Champagne from a stellar vintage, a blend of 50% Grand Cru Chardonnay & 50% Pinot Noir, known for its intense minerality, vibrant acidity, and complex notes of red fruit, citrus, spice and toasty richness from extensive aging (15 years) offering a youthful yet powerful and long-lived expression of its exceptional terroir and the classic 2008 harvest.
Bruno Paillard NPU 'Nec Plus Ultra' Champagne 2008 was born from the idea to create the greatest possible Champagne, whatever the constraints. As always at Maison Bruno Paillard, only the first pressing was retained but an essential characteristic of the NPU is that the first fermentation was conducted in small wooden barriques where the wines spent their first 10 months, developing woody aromas.
'NEC' in French derives from Latin and appears in phrases like 'le nec plus ultra', meaning 'the ultimate' or 'the very best.'
For this, decisions were made at the highest level of BrunoPaillard for each stage of its development creating a champagne at the height of winemaking N.P.U. - Nec Plus Ultra. A wine of transmission.
Only certain particular years are chosen by the House to pass through time. Buy the very best Bruno Paillard N.P.U Nec Plus Ultra 2008 Champagne in all its depth.
