Billecart-Salmon Cuvée Louis Salmon 2008 Blanc de Blancs Champagne 75cl
Billecart-Salmon Cuvée Louis Salmon 2008 Blanc de Blancs Champagne is a blend of pure Chardonnay from Grand Cru vineyards.
The Champagne was named in honour of the brother of Elisabeth Salmon, who founded the house in 1818 with her husband Nicolas Francois.
With notes of mandarin, pear, pineapple, and limoncello, the 2008 vintage presents a spicy white pepper edge and a refreshingly long finish.
"One of the wines with the most potential I have ever tasted from this incredible estate."

The palate presents a creamy sensation from how long the Champagne has been aged on lees, and flavours such as citron and almond biscuit are present. On the nose, aromas of candied mandarin, pear, pineapple and limoncello are present throughout. The finish is long and refreshing with a spicy white pepper edge.
