Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge is an orange-flavored liqueur created in 1880 by Alexandre Marnier-Lapostolle. It is made from a blend of Cognac brandy, distilled essence of bitter orange and sugar and it is named for the red ribbon that graces its decolletage. Cordon rouge is the original Grand marnier, a delicious blend of fine cognacs and wild orange essence. You can sip this liqueur neat or over ice as a digestif, perfect for cocktails and crepes, it gives its best tasting on Margarita and Cosmopolitan but can also be served neat.
