This is only the 20th year, since its inaugural vintage in 1979, that Krug has produced this special Blanc des Blancs. Grown on the most hallowed of Champagne terroirs - the 1.84-hectare walled vineyard Clos du Mesnil in Mesnil-Sur-Oger - this is a Chardonnay of exceptional poise and elegance.
