The Louis Roederer Collection 243 marks a new era for Louis Roederer, it is a development in structure, form and style. The effects of climate change and the increased importance of practising sustainable viticulture have shaped the style of this Champagne. The creation of Collection values the environment in order to wholly expose the characteristics of the terroir. Collection is created from a range of parcels found in the heart of the Champagne region that is suited to its identity and where the emphasis is on sustainable growing practices. Collection 243 is a blend of 10% oak-aged reserve wines from 2009, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 34% Perpetual Reserve, and 56% of the most exquisite grapes from the 2018 harvest.
