Grape: Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Pinot Noir, Shiraz, Tannat
Malbec, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Tannat is a sublime wine from Pulenta in the Mendoza wine region in Argentina. Notes of red and black fruits, in balance together with some spices makes it complex and delicate. In the mouth is persistent and pleasant, with an excellent elegance.
Tapanappa is a ripe and highly structured wine, the sweet fruit middle being offset by long persistent tannins, which contribute a savoury balance to this traditional Australian blend from the Coonawarra wine region of South Australia. The ripe blackberry and anise of the Shiraz dominates the aroma although the underlying cassis and herbal spice of the Cabernet Sauvignon add complexity and finesse. As usual, the terroir imprint of Whalebone Vineyard expresses as a smoky Eucalypt and fresh earth aromas.
