Dandelion Lionheart of Barossa Valley Shiraz Australia 75cl
Dandelion Lionheart of Barossa Valley Shiraz 2021 is a rich red wine that perfectly reflects the heart and soul of the Barossa Valley. The wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels and can be enjoyed now but could be cellared for up to a decade. It is a triumph of both the terroir and the skill of the winemakers.
Lionheart is so named after The Barossa Valley‘s lifelong champion of old vines, Carl Lindner. It comes from ancient, gnarled vines, some approaching and many over a hundred years of age that not only survive but thrive on their own roots in some of the oldest soils on the planet. The Lionheart of Dandelion Vineyards is an old vine Barossa vineyard. Made using 100% Shiraz grapes from old vines means the wine is intensely concentrated so dark berry and plum flavours are to be expected. The Lionheart of Barossa Valley would pair perfectly with grilled meats such as beef and lamb, or a hearty stew.
