Dandelion Lioness of Mclaren Vale Shiraz 2021 is a complex wine that exquisitely showcases the essence of the McLaren Vale region. The wine is elegant, refined and bold, a result of the grapes being grown on ancient soils before being handpicked and fermented in small batches. Whole bunches are fermented together in open top fermenters before basket pressing into some new but predominantly older barriques. It was hand picked and spent 18 months in a combination of French and American barriques o capture the real essence of the vineyard.
The Lioness of Mclaren Vale is 100% Shiraz and is a testament to the skill of the winemakers and the unique terroir of the region.
