Paxton NOW is a medium-bodied Shiraz from the McLaren Vale region of Australia, and stands for 'Natural Organic Wine'. Paxton are leaders in organic wine production and wanted to create a Biodynamic and Organic natural wine with no added preservatives different from their existing Shiraz wines.
The grapes for the Shiraz are sourced from three of Paxton's seven vineyards: Maslin, Quandong and 19th Vineyards. Established in 1979, Paxton is all family-owned. Founder and owner, David Paxton is one of Australia’s most highly respected viticulturalists; a reputation built on managing and growing wine grapes of exceptional quality for over 45 years.
The nose is full and appealing, with lush aromas of bramble underlying plum, spice and a hint of game.
