Lake Breeze Bernoota Shiraz Cabernet 2022 is a rich and full-bodied Australian red wine from a family-owned vineyard. A blend of 60% Shiraz and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2022 vintage offers intense dark fruit notes with a velvety texture and soft tannins.
Aged for 20 months in French and American oak barriques, the resulting wine has depth, character and charm, which is ripe and structured.
Bernoota was the name originally given to the homestead situated on the Lake Breeze property, and is an Aboriginal name meaning 'camp among the gum trees'.

The 2022 Lake Breeze Bernoota is a rich and velvety red wine blend. Notes of blackberries, cassis and dark plum roll into notes of liquorice, chocolate mint and smoky oak. The palate is bold, rich and structured with layers of dark fruit, liquorice and eucalyptus.
The 2022 would pair well with red meats, specifically roasted venison, beef or lamb, or would make a wonderful addition to a barbequed meal, with bold flavours or hints of spice.
