This commanding, elegant Shiraz presents as a deep, intense garnet colour, with a bouquet of cranberry, boysenberry and pomegranate with subtler, herbal notes. On the palate, spice flavours are present, as a result of aging in oak barrels, integrated with tightly knit, yet finely woven tannins, carrying intense fruit flavours and providing a superb length.
This Shiraz would pair well with rich, savoury dishes, particularly red meats such as venison, lamb and beef, and would also pair well with hearty pasta dishes like Bolognese and Ragu.
