The Henschke Keyneton Euphonium Red Wine 2019 displays an excellent structure and depth, and the grape blend, comprised of Shiraz/Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, is a truly outstanding example of the unique terroir of the region. The ripe dark fruits on the palate are balanced easily by the acid line, driving the mid-palate long.
The Henschke vineyard, located at the backdrop of the Barossa rage, was first established in 1842, and is home to a diverse quality of soils; brown clay, yellow sandy soils and reddish brown earthy soil.

This deep crimson red wine blend showcases concentrated aromas of blackberry, boysenberry, spicy redcurrant, rhubarb and spice, complemented irresistibly with subtler tones of sage, bay leaf, cedar black pepper and cassis. The wine has a complex palate, presenting flavours of black fruit, tobacco and chocolate, finely grained tannins and culminates in a long, smooth finish. A perfect example of the exceptional craftmanship that contributes to creating a world-class Barossa Valley Blend.
The wine would make an excellent pairing for a wide variety of dishes; specifically red meats like beef and lamb, but would also pair wonderfully with game and cured meats.
