Henschke Henry's Seven Barossa Valley Australia 75cl
The Henschke Henry's Seven Barossa Valley Australia 2023 is a full-bodied red wine blend that consists of Shiraz, Grenache, Mataro and Vigoner, matured for 10 months in 5% new (99% French and 1% American) seasoned oak hogsheads prior to blending and bottling. It displays flavours of blue and red fruits, supported irresistibly by a bright acidity, fine tannins and an excellent length.
The wine is delicious now, but would also age beautifully and can be cellared for 15+ years.
The growing season faced some challenges, however the yields were above average, with larger berry sizes compensating for the poor set. Thankfully, the resulting vintage will be remembered for the excellent wines, showcasing good structure, mature tannins, fruit purity and great length.
