De Bortoli Deen Master’s Blend VAT 184 from the 2019 vintage is a blend of 55% Shiraz, 25% Durif and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is multi-regional and captures the essence of each variety: Spicy Shiraz from Heathcote, rich Durif from Riverina and cabernet sauvignon from the cool climate of Yarra Valley. The grapes have been aged in American and French oak barrels for 12 months.
The wine is bright red with a garnet hue and presents aromas of chocolate, blueberry and hints of cedar spice. The palate is generous and has an abundance of dark fruits, structuring tannins and hints of dark chocolate.
