Chatto Intrigue Huon Valley 2023 Pinot Noir is a complex and vibrant wine from Tasmania. The Intrigue is a dry red wine that is blended from all 8 clones on Isle Vineyard. The wine boasts a complex nose with plum, dark, and red cherry aromas, with hints of rose petals.
Jim Chatto has over 25 years of winemaking experience across Hunter Valley and Burgundy. He fell in love with Tasmanian Pinot Noir in the 1990s and decided to look for the perfect vineyard. He started to make a couple of single vineyards under the Isle label in 2014 which sell out well before the next release. Today they make Ise and Intrigue from their estate alongside single vineyard from trusted growers.

'96 points. Complex aromas of wild blackberries, summer strawberries, dark cherries, cassia bark and wet earth. The palate is medium-bodied with finely integrated tannins, showing notes of raspberries, cured meat, orange peel, rose petals and graphite. A finely constructed wine from all eight varieties grown on the Chatto family vineyard. Excellent.' - James Suckling
